Looks like you could use one of the trees as the anchor... using a long rope, for the chicken loop anchor. Much safer than a a dog stake anchor, which can turn into a dangerous flying object, when things go wrong and the anchor rips out.

That looks like the Horse stake I have and looks very compareable to the kite anchor. I almost bet the horse anchor is longer than the kite anchor but certainly both are better than a real dog stake as in the Amazon link. Obviously depends on the type of soil its used in.
