I'd put a dollar towards July 3 for when the sandbar comes back.

Last year's huge run-off didn't have her come back completely until......July wasn't it??? The Spit will be good to go for early season but with this winter being mellow...possibly late May???

Or......just enjoy the green grassy Event site launch and landing. Very Happy

That's sucks...!! All I can say is I was using yesterday, but left it right where I found it. I think Rob was definitely the last guy on it... unless Dangler landed there at the end of his sesh. He was still out there when I left, and so was the sandbar... hmmm....

It'll come and go a bit this month.

The CGKA is already in meetings with the Port and CGWA making arrangements for Event Site kite access during highwater levels this Spring.

Sand or Grass, you'll have one or the other to launch from this Spring.

Nice Pepi! As I recall last summer's meeting were on the whole pretty positive, and the windsurfing crew was cool about high water issues and shared access during high water.

Water will be up and down until the first week of may according to Northwest River Forecast Center Long-Range Single Trace Procedure (STP) Condition Forecast:

This is assuming we don't get 10 feet of snow in April

Rollo's too kind, I only took the middle photo of him going out on the Park (and with his camera!) It was pretty sweet out there for anyone with a big kite. Sandbar is barely under water, but the current moving over it is pretty strong in places. Its a tippy-toe walk, or more likely a swim to get to...
