The biggest problem I have with my booties and all the ones I have tried is they are kinda grabby on the bottom, so no matter how loose I get foot straps, they catch on the rubber of the foot pad and I can never get my foot in as far as I want until Ive been up and riding and have done a few turns. Maybe if I rode strapless more often this wouldn't be a problem... But I like my twin tip if its not surf or swell.

So my question is: are there any booties out there that have a small pull tab on the toe you can use to give a tug and snug your foot in the strap before you get up and going? And if not, please someone in the industry start making this!

For the same reason of fit and feel for the board I've used these neoprene socks for years. I burn through a pair in one ore two winters but for me they work well for the coast or the columbia. May be too thin & not warm enough for some people though.

I usually buy mine at Gorge Performance in Portland.

Yes , these are the answer ! I use a similar sock and they wear or tear easily but it's the feel while riding that counts . If you don't walk around on shore too much with them they last longer .
My feet stay quite warm in them , it kinda feels good when a flush of cool water gets in now and then while riding , thats how warm they feel to me .
