NZ/West Oz in March?

Any input on kiting NZ or Western Oz in March?How bout renting a camper van?

Getting a bit later in the season for wind, but swell should be happening once in a while. I think southern area might be your best bet in West OZ. Somewhere from Geraldton to Margaret River area depending on swell and wind forecast. We were there a few years back all of Feb til March 9th or so and got most of the swell/wind at Margaret River. Scored a killer couple days at Gnaraloo too (best spot hands down), but you really need to go for a specific swell/wind forecast that time of year or you'll be sitting around enjoying a ton of flies swarming you for no reason. Bring a mosquito net if you go there.

For Margaret River you better be competent since it's a fast hard break on a sketchy reef with lots of locals that don't always like to share. After a few days though if you're not a kook they'll prob start letting you into the rotation a bit easier.

Been on WA coast a few times and March still has wind just not as perdictable as Dec-Feb. Best to go to Seabreeze.com.au and ask there and look at posts about how the season has been so far. They will also know alot about NZ locations and best spots for surf
