Eff man, would but too busy shredding Skyline and Strawb's.

Picked the wrong weekend (or right depending on your view) to roll down to UTAH.

Sick action down here, stoked to Kite new terrain!

Took this pic at Solitude yesterday (not kiting)

27" of fresh in 24 hours kicked so much A$$.

Looks like some wind on the camas today...anyone,monty?

Hows the coverage at Strawberry j-mac?
when you wonder about perfect snowkite terrain and what it looks like...?
go to strawbs.
huge rollers,half pipes,wind lips,and a big frozen lake.BLISS.
But i think Camas gets more wind, variety of terrain, and more expansive feel.

You do know that Trish is a REP for Best and that both her and Monty are living full time on Oahu... I believe that Monty scored a great job in the sales aspect of a medical company on Oahu.

Fortunatley they are both still organizing Snowkite Soldiers...

It's only been a week since the Camas got the mass dump needed to make it worthy of kiting and it's been calm w/warm temps ever since. So we headed south to explore Utah and so far it's been nothing short of epic, here are the cliffs:

Sat 1/21 - Outdoor Retailer trade show & afterparty @ RedRock brewery
Sun 1/22 - 27" of fresh pow @ Solitude w/cliffy pillows off Summit chair all day
Mon 1/23 - Scoped out Strawberry, no wind and meager snowpack (24" maybe)
Tue 1/24 - POW day at Snowbird with Gad Chutes & Little Cloud deep in 12" of fresh
Wed 1/25 - SKYLINE first tracks on W'erly 15mph wind w/only 2 other kiters out
Thurs 1/26 - More Skyline - early session @ Joe's reservoir in gusty 12m wind, 2nd W'erly session @ the Summit in whiteout 7m vertigo-inducing snowstorm.
Fri 1/27 - Skyline - 6" of fresh w/clearing skies and light W wimds...pics later______________

Now the visual feast, see ya on the ridge! Thumb's Up

Update: Sick day; bluebird w/8" of fresh POW, light west winds but plenty to shred Bosco's hill and the Skyline ridge all day.

Avy danger was off the charts, notice the top right ridge in the bottom pic, multiple natural slides and one big sledneck triggered one that about buried his redneck ass.

That's it and that's all, enjoy the view.
