4 kiters and 3 windsurfers on Dec 2, not bad! View from the old Eyrie resort showing the sediment making its way toward the old dock pilings to the west.

i've been down there several times since I have been back and I don't think it is going anywhere...
there is soooo much material for miles up river

Everybody is talking about if it's gonna stay or go.

I think we should be more forward-thinking and talk about who's gonna claim it.

Sounds like the time is now for the sport of kiteboarding to steal this bitch just in case it does stick around.

Does anyone feel that telling windsurfers that the Hatch is right up the road -go use it- is such a bad thing to do at this point?

Somebody plant a flag.

I think the real issue will be what happens when the new bar changes river swell at the mouth to flat water which means the number of surf style kiters going up wind to the hatch/swell multiplies by 5...
