Sun Nov 20, 11 9:52 am Anyone fly Ozone Instinct on a different stock bar? |
|
|
Hi,
This is my second post of sorts on this topic as I admit to being a slow learner. Over the past few months, I have come to dig the Ozone Instincts (and Zephyr) and now my quiver is peppered with the 11, 13 and 17. However, for me, I am just not in love with the one-sided pull-down QR and really would feel more comfortable on a center push-away. Is anyone using a different bar with happy success? And if so, is the bar you are using stock or do you have to make modifications? Any advice would help.
Thanks,
Paul |

Center push away QR's are great IMO. Easier for me to manage while in the washing machine of chaos. Many companies have switched to this set-up so make sure your line lengths are exact to your stock Ozone line length and test away, or just swap your lines to the new bar.
Bridles, pigtail length, line stretch and overall depower/throw etc will impact kite handling characteristics but it's a pretty simple change. |

I've used Slingshot bars w/Ozones several times. Usually no adjustments other than reversing the pigtails. Ozone has the loop end for the front lines/knot ends for the rear. |
