For those of you who remember the first dozen or so ladies in the world to trailblaze kiteboarding... and for those of who don't, please lend a hand if you can.

Sheldon Pletovich is one amazing woman and needs our support immediately.

Over the last 9 years, she’s been doing some serious kung-fu on a long term bout with Leukemia, all the while winning international kiting competitions, completing her Ph.D in wildlife conservation and winning ‘Best Paper’ at the Hawaii Conservation Conference, after which she said she promptly went to the hospital and received cells so she wouldn’t pass out.

I know times are tight, but any gesture helps.
