You buy the 8 and you wish you bought the 10. Buying a 7/10 or even a 6/10 will get you way more sessions. For only one kite, get the 8. It will get you going most days above 15 knots. A 10 will have you sitting on the beach wishing you had an 8 more than the other way around.
