Has anyone ever tried to kiteboard on the willamette river? I see sailboats and sailing school there, and yesterday there was some significant wind. The only problem is there isn't a great launch site. I'd have to launch in the park and then walk down the dock or something ridiculous. Just dreaming of riding on this crappy rainy day. Believe it or not I have had some 10m sessions out there. The launch is from Oaks Park, there is a little beach that works well. This is the first year in probably ten years I did not make it out there at least once.
