All I can say is that for the sake of your children, be someone they can love and be proud of. Maybe thats what you are trying to do. Just consider doing it in a way that they can understand in reality, on their level.
If you have written yourself off, thats your choice and I will not question that. Just dont freak your children out and away from you. You made them and they deserve a loving father who is there for them.
And you know that I would say that to your face. Will be in SPI for Thanksgiving and I hope that I see you there.
