Had a lesson (informal) with Taylor (from Gorge Gradients) yesterday at the event site. A couple of weeks ago had a jet ski lesson with him but the wind was a bit strong. I know most of you have way more experience than me, but try to remember back to that first day when you sort of "got it" and were able to grab the power of that wind and rip across the water and really feel that flow and ride! That was yesterday for me! What an amazing feeling!!!!

Just wanted to share. I'll be there as often as possible. Heading to Hawaii in Feb and leaving my dive gear at home to make room for kite gear!

Nice going! Taylor & the Gorge Gradients crew are top-notch! My wife and I both had our lessons through them, both got up on the board within the first hour. What impresses me about Taylor is that he is always willing to talk to you about what you are working on, and give you really great tips whenever he sees you at the Event Site/Sandspit. He, Craig, and AJ have really helped me progress, giving me lots of helpful direction long after my lesson, and yesterday afternoon I was actually holding my own upwind when who should go by giving me the thumbs up? Taylor! Thanks for sharing the stoke!
