Slingshot has the best customer service. Bam !
Recently I had a bit of a problem with a Compstick bar on Maui. I went through the SS website and filled a claim. I also told them that I have 3 Compstick bars but only had the problem with 1. They replied promptly and sent me 3 rebuild kits for all my bars even though I only needed 1. I never had to follow up or check in on them. Good customer service keeps people loyal.
SLINGY CUSTOMER SERVICE IS LEGENDARY !!!!! And I love the RPM's.
My family rides Cabrinha, ( please dont ask me why ) and I have made bunches of attempts to contact them regarding multiple issues. I have yet to date never ever heard back from them ever. Suck me Cabrinha, ( not Pete but Neil Pryde ) I fart in your general direction.

I second that! SS's costumer service has been second to none so far. Just had a bit of an issue with the chicken loop rope. Visited Slingshot in HR and they sent me a new rope. SS not only sells exceptional products but delivers high quality costumer service consistent with the quality of their products. What more can you ask for? Agreed 100% and have yet to find any kiteboarding company to stand behind their products like Slingshot does. The few times there ever was a problem it was made good ASAP as opposed to falling on deaf ears w/ some mfrs. that I choose to no longer support.

I'd ride SS too if I could afford it. Higher gross margins make it more feasible to deliver better customer service. They SHOULD operate that way considering the price of their gear.
It's not like they really need more exposure in terms of number of kites on the water in the Gorge, but I'd like to throw an idea out there anyway: Special pricing for local pickup!! |
