As most of you are aware, German Kiteboarder Theo was injured a few weeks ago in Hood River. http://nwkite.com/forums/t-23349.html
I am one of the organizers of the Bridge Of The Gods Kiteboarding Festival www.botgkitefest.com and during my communication with our premier sponsor Vela Kitesurf Resorts http://www.velakitesurf.com/ , they have offered a vacation to Theo and his family once he is up to it. I want to recognize Vela for their gennerosity.
When looking a kiteboarding vacation please consider Vela as a great option of resorts to stay.

I'll give them and a  for their offer to Theo and his family.
We've stayed at the Augalina resort in Cabarete two different times and loved it. There are pics somewhere here on nwkite that show the resort and a goofy video I made that shows some kiting. Even if you don't need lessons it's a great place to stay.
