Made another cedar core board, thought I would post up since I know there are some great builders in your neck of the woods, give me inspiration from time to time.
This one's 132x40.5, 3mm tip V-channels, 3mm concave, hope it will be nice when the 137x43 board I made last year is too big for my knees.
It will be really different though, much flatter but with channels.
The channels take some doin', had a few mishaps along the way.
Seems like it will do ok though.
Details on the kookforum.

Well, got a ride in Saturday.
80kg rider, 132x40.5 board
11m fuel
17-20kts,
1-3ft chop from 2 directions,
plus a few little ankle biter "waves"
board did ok.
Channels felt nice, good when sliding/transitioning.
Upwind great but groove a little narrow -probably b/c low rocker and channels set wide and parallel.
Carved nicely though, flex and outline seem good.
Seemed to pop fine, but didn't do a lot b/c weird chop made it hard to time.
Board will be fun to try in smoother water, might need another with more rocker for chop....

That was the first thing I said when I saw it. Excellent looking board.

Thanks! The small image size hides flaws...

Update:
2nd session, 14-20kts, 11m, flat water.
Nice in flat water, and easier to get acclimated than in the confused chop the previous week.
The timing to load/pop into a jump is nicer for me on this board than others I've had, the ride is fast, and the landings felt good.
I can't claim it's the core, glass or channels, but the mix is good and I'm glad I saw this project through -it gave me some doubts along the way.
Getting a little more dialed, but still may not be my choice in rough chop.
Still want to try with little fins some time....
