You can make do with the Envy bar, not 100% sure about the safety system (should work fine). Only problem is that LF bars have a mile of throw for depower, that Wainman bar has much shorter throw, if you use the stopper ball on the LF bar and set it down it should work fine. |

Should be no problem to fly the Wainman kites with the LF bar ( really pretty much any 4 line bar set up will work with these kites ) , not sure about the other way around however. Rabbits seem to require less bar travel than many to reach that 90% depower range and the Wainman bars are set up that way..a short throw..... the Envy seems to require a longer throw to reach that same depower so with a Rabbit bar and LF kite you may want to consider using the mini 5th line to flag a front line safety ... next to weigh in... Envy riders... |

Chooch is spot on with his recommendations.
We flew the Wainmans a bit when were checking them out to possibly bring into the shop.
The Wainman is a flatter kite therefore giving it a shorter bar throw than the more arched Envy that uses pulleys in the bridle for depower range.
Using the stopper ball is a wise thing as the Wainmans will not really need/ like being given that much depower. _________________ Pure Stoke Sports

The LF CPR bar will work on any 4 line kite that is tuned for all 4 lines being equal length, when the bar is at full power (sheeted to CL at bar, no depower pulled in)
I have a 2011 LF Envy 15m ltd (black colorway) that you can demo if you'd like. PM me for contact and we'll hook it up. This kite is likely also available for sale, if you fall in love and are interested... but definitely get it out for a demo! _________________ Liquid Force Kiteboarding in the Pacific Northwest.
Demo's always available to those on this forum.. PM me to schedule. |
