Looks like windsurfers are mostly supportive of sharing event site with kiters! A discussion on windsurf at this point is supportive and civil in the majority of posts.

I'm all for civility when it comes to windsurf/kite stuff. We have most of the same goals, challenges and speedbumps in the road toward making our sports more accessible and accepted by local and state government and of course local, state and federal parks and recreation. Seems to me that we kiters should all be members of CGWA at the bare minimum as a thanks for pioneering access spots here in the gorge. Windsurfing is awesome, even though I kite right now. ALL the windsurfers I talk to are totally cool with kiters and sympathetic to our access issues.
