Our temporary launch/land access via the Marina Beach Swimming area is now over as of June 30th.
Until the river water levels lower enough for the designated seasonal Kiteboard launch/land zone to become accessible again, kiteboarders are not allowed to launch or land at the Marina Beach Park Swimming Area/Zone.

Under normal waterlevel circumstances, the Marina Beach kite launch/landing area is located in a typically accessible location just beyond the Marina Beach Swimming Area/Zone.
Pumping and drying is allowed on the East End of the park just next to the Public Restroom.
The CGKA would like to give a very big THANK YOU!! to the Port of Hood River for their generous support of the kite community by allowing us the open launch/landing access we enjoyed this Spring Season. We now hand over this beach back to the local recreational swimmers and sunbathers
