HI beej,
The Columbia has all sorts of conditions. Expert to beginner. Flat water, swells, current, and no current.
Hit 3-mile for the largest flat water spot on the Columbia. It also has steady winds. You launch directly into a huge lagoon protected on all 4 sides with no current. Plenty of space. |

I think it is around exit 150 on I-84. The exit sign says Three Mile Canyon, about 15 miles East of Arllington. There is nothing there so bring everything you need. Looks like a fun flat water local. and the sweel is said to be good as well _________________ CGKA Member |

Are the snakes venomous or just creepy? Are the locals murderers or just line cutters?
Either way, I may steer clear. Bummer. Sounded pretty cool. |

looks good to me, I will be in boardman for a 10 days first of August. nice to know there are other spots to kite other than Arlington. Tried kiting boardman last 2 years but winds are unreliable and those damn goat head weeds put 15 holes in my leading edge even though I pumped up on clean pavement and drift launched. Still get holes.
Maybe I can run over some snakes and toss them at some locals if they mess with my lines |
