If I recall, it was Chuck Norris who started it.

I'm afraid that people may see nipple lumps in my 2mm spring suit and become aroused. I may need to start wearing a bathrobe over my wetsuit. I wonder if you can buy burkas on-line?

It's almost like being back in middle school....

IMO, kooks wear boardshorts over wetsuits. I don't give a rat's ass about peer pressure.

I'm sorry to tread into these waters, but as a kook, I don't want to look cool, but I do want to avoid looking like a moron.

So which one is it in Oregon? Boardshorts, or no boardshorts?

You guys should go hang with captain america at rooster in your bare wetsuits. You will be a cool guy there for SURE hahaha. When your done you should get back on your road bikes with spandex setups and then follow each other sniffing butt the whole time. Yeah Man

The ladies look awesome without anything over their wetsuits, They should keep Sending it! javascript:emoticon('Very Happy')

Ok, I'm still waiting to find out what the "don't look like a moron" approach is. No shorts, or yes shorts?

Just don't wear shorts over your dry suit. Otherwise, who cares.

Here in the SoCal surf, the only guys who ride with shorts are the young kids, and the twin-tippers. We laugh at all of them.

2007-2008 - Board shorts over your wet suit. No board shorts = Kook or Knob
2008-2009 - Board Shorts over wet suit - Board shorts and t-shirt 5x bigger than you should have - No boards shorts = Kook or Knob.
2009-2010 - No board shorts and a water shirt just short enough to display the junk - No board shorts = This year, I wished they were wearing board shorts.
2011 - My prediction - Farmer John , no board shorts or shirt. Wind Surfers will wear board shorts over their wet suits and dry suits.

Beej- I would bet that no matter what you wear, you have a high probability to get it wrong. Safe bet is to wear board shorts just in case you can always take them off. And you could also just say "F" it and do what you want and have fun - just bring beer (Note: This attitude should not be use at Rooster - Double up wet suit and board shorts and wear seat harness).

What do I know, I am just a Kook like the rest of them. Here in Nevada the only thing we worry about is enough wind and water to kite. 12 kites on the beach = crowded day.
