I wear it on a break away lanyard, around my neck, under my rashguard. That seems to work very well.

I am really curious to see how that single blade stacks up to the double bladed design pepi is selling at 2nd wind. I know when Nak tested the psi needed to break the lines it was concluded that the single edged knifes sucked ass.

After putting it to the test in the store, I'm sure that the double edge da kine knife would be utterly useless in time of need.

I just tested my new Benchmade on some old Spectra and it went through like butter. I also like that you only have a single cutting surface / angle so there's less to go wrong.

Here's an idea.... how about a public competition! Wrap up some poor saps with old lines and see how long it takes them and their favourite line cutter to get out. The winner gets a beer and the viewers buy the winning knife.

Heres the thing. If its a rescue knife, its best only to use it for rescue. When I got my first Benchmade I tested it with a bunch of lines to see what it was capable of. In my opinion, it's amazing what it will do and it's the best. I will trust it to cut what I need when I need it. However, that being said, I never ever use my rescue knife for anything but rescue. If you test it too much then its not a rescue knife anymore, its a test knife. So perhaps a bunch of people chip in like 10 @ $3 each, and buy one just for testing then donate it to someone who would never be able to afford one. Keep the new ones new and dont use them unless your life depends on it. Thats the point of a rescue knife. Im just sort of freaky with rescue equipment like that.

No idea. I hate cold water and avoid water temps below 70 degrees.

What, are you sailing in the Arctic ?

Try this one : http://www.benchmade.com/products/15
