I'm debating if I want to take a day off of work Friday and head out to HR. NOAA forecast doesn't look good, but the Troutdale aviation forecast is great. Anybody know which to believe? Also will HR work on easties with the current like it is?

Friday:
Light and variable winds as sunshine makes a return to the region. Could see some easterlies crop up in the Gorge, but sub teens mostly. Coast NW backing to SE winds, low teens, stronger central. SW swell 6-8 ft. north end, mixed W 4-5 and SW 3-5 ft. central and southern coast. |

Someone posted a link in a thread recently that seemed to have a pretty detailed assesment of a wind forecast for the gorge. The assessment had notes about pressure gradients and whatnot. I think it was someones blog or something. Does anybody know what that site was? I didn't bookmark it and I must not be searching for the right things in the form because it's not coming up ind the threads I'm seeing.

| I use the Gorge is My Gym forecast year-round. Best summary around!! Pay the $10. You'll save that 10 fold in gas. |
