best all around suit including early june? (especially THIS june!!) would be a 4/3. you can add one of those rash guard type tops if you need a little more warmth. 5/4 is considered a winter suit, although right now with air and water temps as they are a 5/4 aint a bad choice. 3/2 would work for hot july-aug days. But if I was going to own one suit for gorge summers it would be a 4/3.

4/3 would be the choice for one wetsuit for the coast to cover most of the seasons.
5/4 would be needed for the bitter cold during winter.

Go talk to you local shop. They will give you a ton on info about all the different types and thickness of suits. But most of all its all about FIT. Go check out gorge performance they have a ton of suits to try on. Remember you get what you pay for. You might get a good deal and a really cheap suite.
For the gorge you can always supliment with a vest resulting in increased thermal retention.

4/3, but it also depends on quality of the suit. If you're gonna be cheap and buy a low quality 4/3 suit it probably won't be nearly as warm as a quality 3/2 suit with welded/sealed seems

Don't be a pansy.

Go without a suit.

Show 'em who's boss.

Pro-motion wetsuits are not cheap but they are cost affective. They keep you warmer. A cheep wetsuit will not keep you warm. Staying warm is critical to your health. Hypothermia is a significant factor in many kiting disasters. Get a good suit, will make kiting more fun and safer, and it may save your life.
I put my students into pro-motion 5/3 through the spring and they stay warm and continue to progress after 2 hours in the water.
I will not let students were their own suit if it is not going to keep them warm because they stop thinking if they get cold.

I have a 5/3 promotion that I used a lot over 3 spring seasons.
it's mostly worn out but you could get a season out of it.
Its's worth $50 and is yours if you want it.
