Looking for coast kiting buddy

I'm planning to spend a lot more time this summer on the coast, and looking to see who has the interest and schedule flexibility to either carpool from Portland to the coast or meet up at the coast when conditions beckon.

Personally, I have a flex schedule and am interested in weekdays and open to weekends and going out multiple times per week. This could be for part-day trips to the northern coast, or camping road trips to points further south.

Hoping to find some folks who have more ocean experience than me, to know when conditions look favorable, where the good launch points are, and who can self-launch (since I haven't done it much).
