I remember someone had posted a formula for calculating the kite size based on rider weight and wind speed. Trying to figure out what the right size kite would be for my son. I couldn't find the thread, if anyone has the thread, or can post up the formula, that would be great.

Divide your weight by the windspeed.
It was kinda a joke - but it seems to work.
I weigh 180 and the formula is spot on!
180 / 15 mph = 12 meter (perfect).
180 / 20 mph = 9 meter (perfect).
180 / 25 mph = 7 meter (perfect).
180 / 30 mph = 6 meter (perfect).
