The Port voted yesterday to approve temporary use of the eastern portion of the Event Site for kiteboarding for the next few weeks. The board also voted to approve use of the Marina beach for kiteboarding through June, as is needed during periods of high water. It will be important for kiteboarders to use heightened common sense and to respect the rules and guidelines laid out in these temporary allowances. More to come.
