Thanks for the props Gman, Blazeheliski, and STORMRIDER!

I should have taken "Before" pics to illustrate how much was actually done to those who aren't familiar with the recent condition of the Stevenson launch. The bottom step of both stairways had collapsed, leaving an array of rocks lying around the access path. (It was a pretty severe tripping hazard. Only a matter of time till somebody got hurt. ) Numerous tall, dead, bushes interfered with kite lines during launching and landing. Debris, both natural and man-made, littered the site. Constraints imposed on volunteers right in the middle of work forced them to improvise a way to finish. The bush down in the rocks was pruned of all the dead limbs. (It may look dead now, but it just hasn't bloomed yet... )

There is a large amount of river rock deposited in the launch area. (It is not in the way. ) We couldn't finish spreading it where it was really needed due to high water. Feel free to bring a shovel and spread a bit around when the water is low!

Many thanks to Kevin at ACME donuts for the donuts and Coffee!

In short, The volunteers worked damn hard and made tremendous improvements to the launch site. Any riders who've been to Stevenson lately will have no difficulty seeing the difference! Very Happy
