Any advice on kite size for the Gorge early July?
I have a slingshot T3, 9m and use a North Crossride
Any thoughts are appreciated

A 9m will work some of the time.
How much do you weigh?
What is your skill level? _________________ Have More Fun!

9m should be fine. Pick your spot and time of day to suit your skill level. Further west for lighter winds, later in the day for smoother, lighter winds.

I would normally have my 6, 8 & 10m2 in the truck and ready to go. Maybe skip the 6m2 if you have to. _________________ Windance Boardshop- Hood River

You didn't say anything about your weight, but 9m will be good the majority of the time in the summer. I'm about 210 lbs (95 kilos) and an 8,10,12m quiver lets me kite 95% of the time it's blowing. |

If you are around 160 lbs with a Crossride you will need a 7 as well as a 9m. Of course on really light days a 12m would be handy but not necessary. |
