Advice anchors for kickers/sliders??

How is the little kicker is anchored in this vid? One from shore and one in the water?

If you have to get kickers/sliders in and out of the water each session they need to be portable light and easy to anchor. Eventually would like to build a small kicker like the one in the vid but also have an old 12' sailboard that would be fun as a slider. Can I just anchor it upwind onshore and leave the downwind end free or would it move around too much? I'd give it a try but haven't had a twin in years but going to step up here soon.

My guess... Sandbag the wave side of the nose to keep the waves from pushing it crooked and onshore and then guy it off upwind while straightening it out and correcting the angle. The best anchor is one you can leave on-site. Sandbags!

The way our stuff at the sandbar is anchored is by well anchors. But what ur gonna do will all depend on the spot. If you can just tie it off to something on shore do that. The problem at the sandbar is that we have 3 forces to deal with when anchoring our sliders. First is the wind, it wants to push the slider or kicker up river. The second is the current from the columbia, it wants to pull the kicker down stream. Third is the current from the Hood river sweeping eveything across the river. Because of this anchoring gets pretty complicated, and isnt something I would want to have to mess with every day. It sucks because when the wind changes, so will the angle, usually not enough to make a huge difference though. We use three anchors, usually one on the upwind side, one to hold the front and hold back. Good luck.

Thanks. The location isn't in the waves fortunately. it's an estuary that is tidal so there are good shore anchoring options. the sand moves around so much during tide cycles that you can't leave an anchor or it will get covered.
