Get it early boys and girls. . .Sunday is calling for some west wind in HR. . .Probably better out east.

By the way, what is that bright yellow thing in the sky right now?

Today: Sunny, with a high near 61. Northeast wind around 7 mph.

Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 41. Breezy, with a east wind between 17 and 25 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 67. East wind between 18 and 21 mph becoming light. Winds could gust as high as 24 mph.

Saturday Night: A 50 percent chance of showers after 11pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 42. East northeast wind around 6 mph becoming calm. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

Saturday:
Fair and pleasant with highs in the upper 60's and modest easterlies. Rooster Rock and Stevenson probably reaching morning and midday upper teen to mid 20's easterlies before fading. Maryhill could see some mid teen easterlies. Light elsewhere. Modest SSW to SW winds at the coast, with the central and south Coast seeing mid teens.

Sunday:
Variably cloudy with isolated rain showers possible, mainly for the western Gorge. Stevenson reaching unsettled mid teen WSW; the Corridor reaching up and down upper teen WSW; the Near East and East reaching upper teen to maybe 20 westerlies in the mid to late afternoon. The Coast see SW to WSW mid teens.

Never.....got plenty of shallow water to drift launch or do an assisted launch at the foot of the stairs.

not sure if Im the Chris that was aimed at or not, I was about to head up to meet the guys doing the down winder, but my wife is having health problems and her friend that was supposed to give me a break to kite didn't show. Got the call right as I was about to get on the freeway, and I had to go back to town. I was guessing the guys I was gonna meet up with were wondering where I went. Looked like good day out there, super bummed I couldn't join in the fun. But summer is on its way!
