You may want to apply at your local school district as a substitute teacher. _________________ Hey, I'm being hahahahahrassed! |

I'm disturbed to hear these things . A mechanical engineer and no job !?
I had intended on schooling for your line of work but ended up a heavy duty mechanic for Cat. I have done a lot of field work and have had opportunity to assist in engineering tooling for special applications . We always need to improvise in my line of work and engineering is often involved .
I have a strong suspicion you wont be out of work that long , as an engineer your mind must always be on the go with projects for improving the existing or new ideas .
Good luck , although I don't think you'll need any , an educated mind with the need to kite will not be stopped !

Jack, you rock baby! I can feel the love all the way here in Ptown! Looking forward to seeing you again in the white stuff!!
Mackconsult I couldn't agree more with Jack, while it's definitely hard times for many right now, I believe you'll be right back on track - don't be discouraged, you'll be hitting the water soon enough! |

It seems lots of engineering opportunities have been here in the gorge at this company.

Funny, I was going to say there's a company called NMHG that I'd heard about... until I scrolled down on your resume. Don't know much about them but apparently you do. They're looking for a "Platform Leader."
Product development has built momentum again so you should be able to find something. Medical device manufacturers should be looking for MEs with solid 3D modeling experience these days. I'll keep my ear open for you amongst my northwest clients.
In the meantime, sounds like you've got some time to kite - Good Luck! |
