The LC forecast was looking good earlier but would hit the ponds ideally if conditions permit.

I nabbed a nice solo 10m sesh at Lincoln City today, rained early and then cleared up and wind picked up! Great sunset session, waves were a bit mushy but there were some monsters out there!
I haven't kited since Feb and it felt amazing!
I will hit it again in the morning but will be headed back to the hood at about noon. I'll try and post how it looks out here in the am.....

I'm going for it. I think I'm going to try an hit up Chinook Washington. Looks decent with the sandbar protection. Might hit up shipwreck or parking lot D, depending on wind.
Look for me around noon.

Would love to kite with someone else, so if you want to meet up, just give me a ring. 3-60, three one nine, 64 ten
maybe hit up the fort george brewery afterwards?

Lincoln City looks good.
Pacific City not so much.
Hard to believe they're only about 25 miles apart.

I was at the ponds Sunday around 10am. Someone aleady out on a 9m. Pumped up, launched and wind died minutes later. From the wind data, doesn't look like it picked up till about 1pm again. I can't complain too much though. Friday and Saturday were awesome in Cannon Beach. 8m one day and 10m the next.

The winds shifted so we, a guy named scott and I, meet up at parking lot D. Rigged our 12s. Had to wait for a huge hail storm to pass, but once it did. Got in a few hours of ok riding. SO much warmer than Hood.
Kited from around 1-3. Sorry no riding pics. but it was still fun. Will have to wait to try Chinook some time later when the wind is better.
