I have some pretty thick booties and they have started to get a tear in the arch on one side. It's not all the way through the material yet. Is it possible for me to use some kind of glue to close the tear and prevent it from pulling apart all the way? _________________ Captain kook; always wrong. |

Use Neorez or Aquaseal.
Brush glue on either side of tear (sparingly, you can always add more later).
Use a hairdryer to preheat glue on both sides of tear until the glue feels tacky (like a sticker), then firmly push together both sides of tear and hold firmly with tape or whatever you can to keep the tear closed tightly for at least a couple of hours.
Afterwards, if it looks like it still needs some more glue, then apply sparingly a coat just over the repaired section.
*If you use too much repair glue, it results in creating a very rigid section of material in your suit or booties, which then causes either discomfort in your fit, or excessive wear in the surrounding areas of repair. _________________ Pure Stoke Sports
