Should call that: speedcrashing. Although, I would love to try speedflying out sometime, with an emphasis on flying. That is the guy who gets shit outlawed, banned etc. I call them the 1%-ers. The other 99% of people out there would think, maybe I should be good at piloting my canopy and even take a lesson or two before I ...

Flydunes,

That was pretty funny! Looks at the wing he is on. Looks like the very very early days as it looks more like a parachute/base wing.

Speaking of... watch for some serious fun this summer. I've ordered a new Cloudstreet tow rig, and am working on getting a base rig. Any tandem pilots out there wanna help out?

"Ça va?" is literally French for "it goes?". Usually its used like we say "how's it going"? It this case, the cameraman is using it to mean "you OK?".

Yah. Looks lke an old 7 cell canopy. He is choking and stalling the canopy by trying to get lift. If the canopy was the right size and it was a skydiving rig he would probably suceed. But with the little speed he has and that small canopy.....it aint happening.

That one stunt where he launches and gets some good air but then does a 360 and hits the ground hard is a very common skydiving injury. Usually resulting from a low hook turn to the ground and hitting it before your body gets back up under the canopy. I am surprised he walked away from that without a shattered hip.

ALot of his issue is no lift...too little speed....too little canopy.
