Took the family down to Grand Cayman just before the Christmas for some kiting, diving and hanging out. Here are some of the images that came out of the visit.

Glad you had a great time. Cayman is a incredible kiting desination. I love it and wish I could live there. Plus the local kiting community is great. I wish I could make it there more than once a year Sad The guys at Kitehouse are very cool and really know how to have a party. good times, good times....

Did you take lessons while you were there? You get them from Mike or Richie? How was the wind?

If your going back next year hit me up. I always rent a house to split costs of lodging.

It is a great place all around, wind, water, diving, land. Like visiting there a lot!

Unfortunately, when I started kiting in 1998, there really wasn't quality instruction available in Florida. Getting training from the Kitehouse would have helped the progression a lot. I saw both Mike and Richie, great guys as you say! The wind was nice, waves outside were good too. I embedded a livecam and wind link in the article for folks to see how conditions are at a given time. I understand Richie is converting a house as a lower cost housing option for visiting kiters. You should check it out once completed.
