Wow...what a glide fest....you guys are skying!

Questions:

So you guys are all wearing redundant harnesses for that stuff right?

How critical is snapping that kite loop just before landing?

How come so many gliders, especially skiiers it seems, face up the hill during the most of the glide?

What's with the dead-dangle steeze? Robby would be throwing like 50 table tops with that kind of hang time! Twisted Evil

Just kiddin, most impressed!

We all usually wear a climbing harness with just leg loops and a biner just in case the bar breaks. We also change our lines and kites often. The difference between flying forward or backwards is prefrence. If you are learning I suggest facing forward, that way youcan glide but stay low or skim the ground the whole time without fear of touching down backwards. I suggest trying to glide low to the ground if at all. You can land without a kiteloop.
Snowkiting is easy! Sometimes I think I am a good kiter then I go to the gorge and get a big slice of humble pie! So many good kiters there. If you haven't tried snowkiting you are missing out! Go find brad and follow him to the camas prarrie! Snowkiting will teach you things you might not try to learn on the water.
It was 8 degrees out when I filmed this so I did not move around to shoot lots of angles just 10 min standing in the same place.
Hope to see yall at the 2011 snowkite soldier event! Its a must do!
Thanks for the reply! wayne
