Thanks to all of you (riders, donors, sponsors!!) for supporting this cause and helping us make our own cancer benefit programs become a reality!
Kiteboarding 4 Cancer is thrilled to announce our Kiteboarding, SUP, and Surf Cancer Survivorship Camps for 2011! We are accepting applications for survivors and volunteers for both Maui and Hood River camps. Check out the schedule, info and application info on the KB4C website here.
As Kiteboarding 4 Cancer is moving into our own programs and larger events, we have additional volunteer, internship and funding needs!! Please spread the word or complete a volunteer app if you are interested in giving back to a great cause and changing lives.
In addition to recruiting great people, we are also raising capital funds for organization operating expenses. These are expenses that help us run the organization, allowing athlete donations to go directly to benefiting those lives affected by cancer. Camps:
Cooks
Logistics & General Support
Camp Counselors
Organization & Event:
Volunteer Coordinator (about 2 hours/week, then approx 5-7 full days approaching and during July event)
Social media & marketing (about 2 hours/week)
Assistant Event Coordinator (for KB4C, must have participated in past year's event as a volunteer and/or rider)
Graphic Designer (ads, posters, banners, 3 logos)
Non-profit Accountant (paid)
