Rocks are covered and Mnt is ready to ride. No wind today though NOAA forecast looked promising.

Wayne,

I have tried several times but with most volcanoes you will encounter katabatic winds has you climb above 9000'. I think Aaron Sales has had the most success on The Plains of Ab. As you can see the terrain is pretty epic from the photos but solid winds is pretty rare. About five years ago we tried to organize "kite explosion" as grassroot event. We got rain out two years in a row, so it got renamed "kite implosion".

Hopefully get to ski the Geeeee and come around kite Jackson area again.
