BKC and Kite-Line are planning a Snowkiting Kickoff Party sometime next month and wanted to get a preliminary checklist of who might attend so we can gauge how to go about it. This will be the first time we have put this on, so we want to make sure it runs smoothly. All ideas are welcome.
We are going to have a raffle, snowkite videos, kegs, and hopefully schwag from potential sponsors. It is tentatively going to be held at the Silver Moon Brewing Pub in Bend, so stay tuned for official details on it. Snowbase is growing up at our spots, so it should be a great year.

The SOKA crew we'll be there for sure.....I know some of you have plans to travel this winter, But dont be fooled cause this year, Oregon's snowkiting scene is on the map.

I think from what resulted from posting photos and writing on this website about this event that it has caused people to clam up. I suspect that whatever goes on isn't talked about and or shared with the public. |

I am pretty sure it had nothing to do with writing or posting pictures as much as it was the all the kiters that showed up and the people complained.
That was a fun weekend though. Sasquatch is right it's probably alot more on the down low now....hit up mit_noslrac might be able to fill you in.
