There's a dude pumping up a naish on the sandbar right now...I hope there is enough coverage! I snowboarded from the heights to work today on my old rock board! I LOVE HOOD RIVER...and kiting.

Hah, I was just doing a search for that one. I'll leave it to you almighty site lacky.

I think that major storm hit in '07 into '08. Basically the dude went from snow to ice to water and back; no wetsuit or dry suit, just basic snowboarding/kiting gear. Talk about cold if he went in. Shocked

Sure would be fun with some features down there. 12m Park, and not enough snow!

Speaking of winter kiting where is the photo of shymac testing out the new Slingshot kites with the ice on the rocks. I think that Rico took it. Couldn't find it any help?

It's an undescript spot SE of town we call Cambodia. Basically a soccer field with some rolling hills on one side where the snow piles up. All in all a good start to Snowkiting 2011.

Snowkite season is fully lit here in the Rockies. We've had days and days of snowkiting here in SW Montana (and nearby Idaho & Wyoming). Monday and Tuesday were deep - blizzard conditions for sure - 3 feet of fresh cold smoke and 25mph winds. Make the drive and score the goods!

Tomorrow at Mt.Ashland is going to be sick!
