There's a dude pumping up a naish on the sandbar right now...I hope there is enough coverage! I snowboarded from the heights to work today on my old rock board! I LOVE HOOD RIVER...and kiting.

Hah, I was just doing a search for that one. I'll leave it to you almighty site lacky.
I think that major storm hit in '07 into '08. Basically the dude went from snow to ice to water and back; no wetsuit or dry suit, just basic snowboarding/kiting gear. Talk about cold if he went in.

It's an undescript spot SE of town we call Cambodia. Basically a soccer field with some rolling hills on one side where the snow piles up. All in all a good start to Snowkiting 2011.

| Snowkite season is fully lit here in the Rockies. We've had days and days of snowkiting here in SW Montana (and nearby Idaho & Wyoming). Monday and Tuesday were deep - blizzard conditions for sure - 3 feet of fresh cold smoke and 25mph winds. Make the drive and score the goods!

Tomorrow at Mt.Ashland is going to be sick!
Friday: Snow likely, mainly after 4pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 32. South southwest wind between 13 and 18 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
