Off hand, can anyone remember what year it was T-line was open on Halloween? It was '96 I think? I think it has happened only a handfull of times.

Three times I recall, 95, 96, 2004. We moved to Portland on October 24th, 2004. Hit timberline the very next day. The season then decided to be way to warm and they had a 40 inch base most of the Season.
