I drive past the Freemont every day on the way to work - usually 9:00 - 9:30. Most days around that time the flags are blowing pretty good from the west. Does this mean that Sauvie'z goes in the morning? The obvious answer is NO, but has anybody checked it out? What's the new wind sensor say? |

Wind on the water sensor for this morning shows a whole lot of nothin.
It's still my first season so some of the other guys should chime in on this but it seems like from what I've seen that: Rooster Rock = dawn patrol; Sauvie Island = dusk patrol.
Sauvie is almost always best an hour or two before sunset from what I have seen. _________________ Captain kook; always wrong. |

For Sauvie to be good you want the flags on the Fremont bridge blowing from as due north as possible. If they are blowing from the east or the west it won't be any good. |
