What about Oahu, Maui south shore, Kauai, which I've also read have good spots? -- Is anyone else going this winter and have couch space in their rental house, tent space on their rental house lawn, or want to pair up to camp together and/or share a rental car? (My understanding is that camping alone is not safe.) -- Anyone know if another method to plan a solo trip to this place, with respect to lodging?
