I have read and re-read many of the posts related to homophobia on this forum. Without passing judgement on those making comments, one way or the other, I thought it would be helpful to share some observations that might, perhaps, minimize the homophobia.

The following FAQ's will hopefully shed some light on the differences and similarities between straight people and homeowners.

1) Isn't true that homeowners tend to stick to themselves?
Yes, most homeowners prefer to live in an area heavily populated with other homeowners. While homeowners may work side by side with you at your office, it isn't easy to identify them and tension often arises unexpectedly. About the only place where homeowners and straight people exist harmoniously is at IKEA.

2) Do people choose to be homeowners or is it genetic?
The research is, at this point, still inconclusive. But, there is substantial evidence that shows that if parents are homeowners then the children are very likely to be homeowners as well.

3) Are homeowners necessarily worse athletes?
No, but once someone tries the homeowner lifestyle he is more likely to store sports gear in the garage than actually use it.

4) Can people live a fulfilling life by going back and forth as a homeowner, playing for both teams, so to speak?
Yes, but it is very unusual. Once a person tries the homeowner lifestyle he is very likely to stick with it.

5) Should homeowners be allowed to teach?
It depends. Most people feel comfortable sending their child to a school with homeowners as teachers as long as the teachers do not try to promulgate the homeowner values (for example, recycling regularly) onto the next generation.

6) Are homeowners better looking?
No, homeowners generally care more about a manicured lawn than a manicured beard. Also after making monthly mortgage payments, homeowners generally have less disposable income for clothing.

7) Should homeowners be allowed to marry?
No. Inevitably those marriages do not last because of duplication of stuff - especially rakes and lawn furniture.

New vibe for sure. And just cause you call something out as gay (like this thread) doesn't mean your homophobic. But maybe that's just because I own two homes? Wait, what does that make me?

Not a homo-owner?

I don't recall, but I think with your forth home, you get one gay free? It was in one of the 100's of papers you signed at closing.
