Hi,

Anyone know anything about Trew Gear? I live in Coeur d'Alene but the kite the Gorge and my neighbor wants to know about the clothing's durability and waterproof-ness. Anyone have their .002 to offer?

Thanks

super legit gear, i have a pair of pants and jacket, most durable gear out there, highest quality i have ever had. And its stylish too. If you have the money i would heavily suggest investing in it.

I'm sure someone connected to them will respond, however I've never own their gear. But I'll seen their stuff and their made bomber proof (probably 30,000+ membrane) with full tape seams. Unlike lowerend jackets that are just critically tape in crest area. Talk to one of the guys and they have some snowkite designs in the works. Its always worth the extra money to buy quality gear and there local HR guys as well.

Trew gear is really great, up there with the AK line from Burton. Designed here in the Gorge! They sponsored Snowkite Soilder, and you don't find any other outer wear brand doing that. One of the things I love is the mobility I have due to the way they design their jackets. I'm friends with the owners, so maybe I'm bias.

HRVHS ski team uses their jackets and they look and feel VERY well built to me.

They make killer gear. Technical fabrics and construction (yeah, fully taped seams!!), roomier fit and good style/colors. I skied all last season in mine and love it. They've been a great supporter of HR high school ski team, they sponsor tons of local events, they're good dudes and they stand behind their product. Really can't go wrong. Two thumbs up!

the other day I used my HRVHS Ski team TREW jacket as a raincoat. There is some SOLID waterproofing on those things!

These are VERY nice jackets, but then, you don't expect anything less for their ridiculous prices
