Ok, so we haven't been to all of them, but here's our top ten of the expedition thus far:

Hope you enjoy!

Cheers to all our friends in the NW!

WOW!!

Thanks for sharing your finds around the world in warm and windy places of paradise. You have been doing something similar to the Rip Curl Search, but with kiteboarding. I can't imagine how good some of those places must get with killer waves, steady winds, and uncrowded solitude.

It is easy to get wrapped up in our little world here in the NW, and not realize there is kiteboarding perfection out there waiting for the adventurist willing to put themselves out on the edge.

Way cool to hear that someone is seeking out the unknown. Hats off to you!!

I liked your article The Price of Discovery in November's Kiteboarder. It so much reminded me of a trip I did from Trinidad to San Diego on a 65' Swan.

It ain't all fun and games...at least not for the captain & crew!

It's no joke, Gavin is da man. Financed the whole thing, works like a dog;
Never sleeps for more than a few hours at a time; it is a super demanding gig.
Luckily his girl Jody has a great eye to capture the incredible journey.

Yeah tough gig. I'm sure when he's laying on his death bed he'll be thinking how he wished he'd been working in a small cubicle with no window most of his life at a thankless job instead. Rolling Eyes

Seriously, nice spots though. check out a few in Southern Asia...VERY nice spots.

I'm on Gavin's newsletter chain and his updates usually read like this;

"We about died, I hate customs paperwork, I'm waiting for supplies, but the kiting was the most incredible ever. Enjoy the pics."

It definitely seems Gavin pays his dues to live the life and the boat has been around for awhile so brass balls to the guy for making it happen.

Thanks everyone for all the great comments. Super glad you liked the post. I'll try to keep them coming with more cool stuff to keep the kite stoke up. Just found out my sis has been learning the groove at the Jetty with Joaquin! Very cool. Cheers NW crew!
