Dr. just gave me clearance to ride again, but I can't slip, and need to use straps for at least two weeks. Going to put straps on my directional--if I can find them... Better grip on waxed board with, or without booties. Feet in straps, but still do transitions. I can't afford to slip right now. Weigh in, please. I've found the least slippage with pads and bare feet. Plus you don't have to deal with wax that can get rather messy at times. I just go barefoot and haven't had too many issues. What I really need is shin guards.
