Just keeping the information flowing! I think it is good for people in the hunt for the right kite for there style of riding! We have some great kites this year and I want to make sure everyone is just out there enjoying this great sport, with gear that works for them....

All the best and enjoy your holiday weekend!

Heard good things about the new Cabrinhas. Not to be a dick, but what is up with that de-power system? Its has more shit hanging down from it that a NYC cab's rear view mirror.

Have you guys ever thought about revising that thing in major ways?

I disagree, I think it looks way cleaner than the below the bar mess that everyone else has. And it is probably the best depower system on the market.

With all the other below the bar setups, to depower you have to pull in on the center line using some sort of clam cleat, resulting in a shortened amount of depower available. Which isn't a big deal unless you get lit up and have no more line left to sheet out on. Where with the Cabis you always have the same amount of depower throw even when you depower the straps all the way.

But the main reason why I like above the bar is because you can adjust the power on the fly, you don't have to stop and use two hands like you do on most of the below the bar setups. Ocean rodeo is the main culprit here. If I ever needed to use their depower, I have to stop, sink, bring down the stopper cleat because the throw is 6 miles long and if I don't the kite falls out of the sky, then use 2 hands to try and get the cleat to budge, where with the Cabis, I just pull on one strap and I never break pace. Not to say all below the bar depowers are this difficult, just in my opinion the above is easier to adjust.

Just my 2 cents
