Checked out the Camas launch today. Looks better than in years past, should be a decent launch this year.
For Easterlies when Rooster goes above your limits. When the Rooster cam looks like this, there's plenty of beach at Camas to launch. ( Not a sandy beach, river rocks. ) This is for this year, next year will be different.

The main thing is the fact that it's a river rock beach, not sand. Also, be careful heading into the channel. There's less wind there, plus the current kills another few knots. If you just shoot out into the current you could be drifting, The next get out is a LONG LONG ways away.
Also, be forewarned the river temp is down to 69 degrees. It was 74 a couple of weeks ago...
