I asked the OR Parks guys if they would mind trimming some branches in the
RoosterCam POV. They really came through for us!
Check out the before and after pictures from today.
Rooster may be windy on Monday when it warms up.

The view is nice, but watching the branch movement from pic to pic also worked good as a wind-icator.
Think the parks folks would let us put a windsock up on the pilings?
I'll donate the windsock.

I don't get it. Is a windsock a bad idea?
I can make a pretty good guess at windspeed by looking at the chop, but I could get extra info out of a windsock; like gust factor, more accurate direction...

News tidbit from iWK.
As previously discussed, the existing Rooster senor is on the OR Parks building and is not very accurate. They've been working on putting one on the big tripod out in the water.
